How to enable Wi-Fi calling on your iPhone
Why enable Wi-Fi calling?
Wi-Fi Calling allows you to make and receive calls over a Wi-Fi network when your mobile signal is weak or unavailable. This feature is particularly useful when you are indoors, in basements, offices, or remote areas with limited cellular coverage.
If Wi-Fi Calling is not enabled, your iPhone will always try to use cellular data for calls, even if Wi-Fi is available.
How to Enable Wi-Fi Calling on Your iPhone
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap Mobile Service
- Select your SIM
- Select Wi-Fi Calling.
- Toggle on Wi-Fi Calling on This iPhone.
- Confirm by tapping Enable when prompted.
Once enabled, your iPhone will automatically switch to Wi-Fi Calling when a strong Wi-Fi connection is available, ensuring better call quality and reliability.
đź’ˇ Tip: You can check if Wi-Fi Calling is active by looking for "Wi-Fi" next to your carrier name in the status bar.
